Model Team Model Management LLC was founded in 1991 by former models and actors John Merriman and Bill Tack, who between the two of them have more than 60 years of professional experience in the industry. Because of their worldwide accomplishments both personally and with their Model Team discoveries, Merriman and Tack have been the subject of numerous features in such publications as: the Star-Ledger, the Asbury Park Press, the Home News, the Trenton Times, the Princeton Packet, the Montgomery News, New Jersey Monthly Magazine, Glamour Magazine, ABC-TV, and even German television, just to name a few!

Model Team discoveries have been seen around the world, featured in such bookings as Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie and Fitch, The Gap, Armani, Versace, Teen Vogue, Ralph Lauren Polo, Macy's, Levi's, Adidas, the Children's Place, Microsoft, Delia's, L'Oreal, Pantene, W magazine, Nike, numerous national tv commercials and films, Saturday Night Live, MTV, the View, David Letterman, Conan O'brien, numerous magazine covers such as Bridal Guide, L'Uomo Vogue, Smart Money, Newsweek, Justine, and Seventeen as just a sample! Licensed agent, managing director and co-founder John Merriman has been in modeling/acting since age 4. You've seen him in countless tv commercials--everything from Vicks to Butterfinger to Navy ads shown during Monday Night Football! He's starred in national print campaigns for Footlocker, Snickers, IBM, Nabisco, Citibank, Lysol, Jeep, National Car Rental, Alitalia Airlines, Waltham, Deutsch Bank, Miller Lite, Computer Associates etc., and covers ranging from Business Week to Money Magazine. Fashion and runway credits also include Claiborne Men, Willis and Geiger, and Tricot St. Raphael. After earning his B.A. and M.F.A. degrees, Merriman studied with Patrick Stewart (X-Men, Star Trek), and with world-renowned acting teacher Stella Adler. He appeared in several world premieres with the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and he did several shows with the Royal Shakespeare Company before appearing in films and tv in New York.

Licensed agent, supervising director and co-founder Bill Tack began his career as an international fashion model in L.A. where he was the last male model hand-picked by fashion mogul Wilhelmina herself. As a model, Tack had worked everywhere from Madrid to Milan to Tokyo to Zurich, and across the U.S. for such clients as Calvin Klein, Commes des Garcons, Gottex, Stephen Sprouse, Anna Sui, J. Crew, Macy's, Halston, Givenchy, Lanvin and Rodier-Paris. Tack's extensive career also included national tv commercials, appearances on the Mary Tyler Moore Show, Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley etc., national commercial print campaigns and ABC-TV's national and international "Golden Runner" symbol of the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics.

Merriman and Tack have had extensive directorial and production experience as well. They have directed and co-produced hundreds of shows in New York and across the U.S. for various designers and clients as Abercrombie and Fitch, Weight Watchers, Subaru, Kinney Shoes and Dick Clark Productions. Merriman also directs and produces Model Team's Bi-annual international industry showcase to debut their newest discoveries to top clients and international agency affiliates.
